Mercy Gilbert Medical Center (MGMC) is Gilbert's first full-service hospital. The 100-acre campus is located at the intersection of Val Vista Road and the future Loop 202 (south of Pecos Road and east of Val Vista). Mercy Gilbert, which opened on June 5, 2006, is a four-story, full-service acute-care facility with 88 private rooms and the capacity to grow to 400 beds to meet the needs of the community.
